We follow the 8-4-4 education system, offering a well-structured curriculum that provides students with a holistic education, ensuring their preparedness for higher learning. Admission is open to students who achieve a score of 300 marks and above. Below is a summary of our curriculum:

Core Subjects: Our curriculum focuses on essential subjects that build a strong academic foundation, including:

  • Mathematics (covering algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics)
  • English (language skills, comprehension, writing, and literature)
  • Kiswahili (emphasizing reading, writing, and comprehension)
  • Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
  • Humanities (History and Government, Geography, Religious Education)

Secondary Subjects:To accommodate students’ interests and future career goals, we offer additional subjects, including:

  • Business Studies(business principles, entrepreneurship, economics)
  • Computer Studies(computer literacy, programming, information technology)
  • Agriculture(agricultural practices, crop production, animal husbandry)

At the end of Form 4, students sit for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exam, which plays a crucial role in university admissions and opens doors to future career opportunities.

Yes, we do admit new students throughout the year for lower forms, but we do not accept admissions for the candidate’s class. If you have any questions or need more information about the admission process for lower forms, feel free to ask

Is there a specific hairstyle for the girls in your school?

We allow push-back lines, short-kept hair and blow-dried hair.

Do you allow day scholars?

PCEA Kanjeru Girls does not allow day scholars; all students must be boarders. If you have any other questions or need further information, feel free to ask!

Is your school private or public?

PCEA Kanjeru Girls is a public school sponsored by the PCEA church and managed by a professional board of management. This structure helps ensure a high standard of education and support for our students.

Is the school fees affordable?

Yes, our school fees are very affordable, as we strive to provide opportunities for girls from disadvantaged backgrounds to develop and thrive. We believe in making quality education accessible to all, ensuring that every girl has the chance to succeed.

Which is the minimum mark for a girl to be admitted to your school??

PCEA Kanjeru Girls admits students who score 250 marks and above in the KCPE exam.

Do you offer french in your school?

No, though we have other technical subjects such as Home Science, Agriculture, Business Studies and Computers.
